Cancellation Policy

Maldevta Farms, Dehradun ("Maldevta Farms", "we", "us", "our") provides this Cancellation Policy to explain how cancellations, refunds, modifications, and no-shows are handled for reservations made through our website, booking engine, phone/WhatsApp, email, OTAs, or walk-ins. This policy applies to stays, day-outings, events, and all other services offered.

At Maldevta Farms, full payment is required upfront to confirm all room bookings.

1) Scope

This policy applies to all cancellations and refund-related matters for:

  • Room bookings
  • Day-outings and activities
  • Events/banquets/weddings/meetings
  • Direct, OTA, phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-in reservations
  • Corporate/group bookings and organizer-led bookings

Where applicable, rate-specific rules displayed during booking also apply.

2) Payment Requirement

  • Every room reservation is confirmed only upon receiving 100% upfront payment.
  • Bookings without full payment are not valid or guaranteed.

3) Cancellation Eligibility

A booking is eligible for a refund only if the cancellation is made before the cancellation deadline shown at the time of booking.

Once this deadline passes, the booking becomes non-refundable.

4) Refund Window

  • Cancellations made within the allowed window receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Refunds, when applicable, are processed back to the original payment method as per standard banking timelines.

5) Non-Refundable Period

After the cancellation deadline displayed during booking:

  • The booking becomes non-refundable
  • No amount paid will be refunded
  • In certain rate plans, the full stay charge may apply

This includes cancellations made for personal reasons, travel plan changes, or late requests.

6) Modifications

  • Modifications after the cancellation deadline may not be permitted and may be treated as cancellations.
  • All changes are subject to availability and revised pricing.
  • OTA bookings must be modified directly through the OTA, and their terms apply.

7) No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs when the guest does not arrive on the check-in date without prior cancellation.

  • No-shows are fully non-refundable.
  • The room may be released by the property after the check-in window lapses.

8) OTA / Third-Party Bookings

For reservations made through OTAs:

  • Their cancellation and refund rules apply alongside this policy.
  • Refunds may need to be requested directly through the OTA.

9) Events, Banquets & Group Bookings

For weddings, banquets, school/corporate outings, and large groups:

  • Cancellation charges may vary based on event scale, date, vendor commitments, and contracted terms.
  • Décor, catering, AV, photography, and other vendor-related cancellations may have separate conditions set by those vendors.

10) Force Majeure

Cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.) will be handled case-by-case as per contractual terms and applicable law.
